Whiskey Vase and Vessel
Inspired by the Glencairn glass traditionally made to hold the water of life on the Scottish Isles. On our honeymoon trip to Scotland we wanted to recall the soft friendly sheep and thorny thistles that covered the green fields.

Inspiration found us when we were given a short tour of the Heath Ceramics Studio at their storefront in LA. Edith Heath was a pioneer in ceramics and design in a world dominated by men. Bringing the shape and feel of the mug from the fanciful teacup and saucer to the working class morning cup used globally today. This is Celeste’s take on the labourers vessel, handle shaped to be able to pinch with one hand, leaving the other free to work.
